Seda has been managing the Yasar University Project Support Office since September 2015.  In 1998, she gained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Bogazici University. In 2000, she achieved a Master’s degree in International Relations from Florida International University in the USA.

After graduation, she spent 8 years as a Turkey and Caspian Energy Office Research Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a Washington D.C. think tank. In 2005, she served on the NATO Parliamentary Council in Brussels. Her career focus has been on Turkish and Middle East geopolitics, energy politics and security.

Prior to joining Yasar University, she was with an American company specializing in green energy technologies, and later at the Izmir University of Economics Project Development and Technology Transfer Office.
